She matched her career-best round of 74 twice, including in the second round of the Heather Farr Memorial to tie for 17th, and in the second round of the Big 12 Championships, where she tied for sixth, the best finish of her career after shooting 76-74-77--227.
2000-01: Pritchard emerged as Colorado's top freshman, the only first-year player to make the postseason roster and play in the Big 12 Conference Championships. Her 80.47 stroke average was seventh on the team. Signs of what kind of player she would become emerged early in the season when she was the Buffs' top finisher (29th overall) at the Oregon State Invitational in September. Two tournaments later she would have her collegiate best finish, an 11th-place effort in Colorado's Heather Farr Memorial. She was the third most productive player on the team in rounds counting towards team scoring, with 20 of her 23 rounds contributing to the final output, including all three at the conference tournament.
High School: Pritchard's international experience was extensive as she was a member of both the Welsh Junior (1997-99) and Ladies' teams (1998-99) that won both 1999 international titles at Royal Dornach, Scotland for the first time in history and a member of the 1998 and 1999 Welsh schools international teams. In 1999 she was named the most improved player at her home club, Tredegar Park G.C. She tied for third at the Tenby Open after firing a 77-80 and was the Gwent schools' girls' champion. Pritchard is the two-time ladies champion on her home course and the 1998 and 2000 most improved player at the same course. In 1999 she advanced to the quarterfinals of the County Championships as well as the Welsh closed championships. She finished fifth (of 78 golfers) at the South Western Championship firing a 78-80--158 prior to winning the Monmouthshire Girls Championship with a round of 80. In 1999 she was also the South Wales Girls' Champion carding a 77. In 1998 she was a member of the Welsh Junior National Team and a first-team all-county player where she reached the quarterfinals of the county championships. She advanced to the semifinals of the Welsh Girls' Championship and qualified for the British Girls Championships, finishing 34th of 150 player.
