2008-09 (Freshman): Did not compete in any tournaments.
High School: Magruder was a four-year letterwinner in golf at the Scottsdale Christian Academy under coach Bill Swift. A two-time team captain and Most Valuable Player, Magruder led the Eagles to a runner-up Metro Region finish in 2007. She was named All-State Second team in her junior and senior seasons and was an Honorable Mention pick as a sophomore. In her senior campaign, Magruder finished 10th individually in the 4A State Championship. Magruder owns a pair of runner-up finishes, with the most recent one coming in 2008 at the Arizona PING Match Play Championships in Phoenix. She also took third in 2006 and 2007 at the Arizona PING Junior Masters, played at the ASU Karsten Golf Course in Tempe. A dual sport athlete, Magruder also lettered for years in basketball and three years in softball.
In The Classroom: An AIA Scholar Athlete and Honor Roll member all four years in high school, Magruder intends to major in integrative physiology or psychology at Colorado.
Personal: Jordan Kelly Magruder was born on June 22, 1990 in San Ramon, Calif. She is the daughter of Merritt and Laura Magruder of Paradise Valley, Ariz. Magruder has two brothers, Matthew (21) and Michael (16). In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading, and hiking. Magruder was also recruited by San Diego State and Western Kentucky, but chose CU because of her love for the mountains, the coaching staff and the team.
