1996-97 – She had a stroke average of 86.00 in 21 rounds during her only season at CU. Her best round of 80 was in the third round of the Sunflower Classic in October.
High School – Lettered four times for Kingwood’s girls’ golf team, earning all-state recognition her senior year. She was Kingwood’s No.1 player each of her four years, and her team won the state title her junior year due in part to the strength of her own sixth-place individual finish.
Other – Was Colorado’s top freshman in the fall, playing in 12 tournament rounds with an 85.75 stroke average. Her top finish was a tie for 25th at the Marilyn Smith/Sunflower Invitational.
Personal – Born April 11, 1978, in Duluth, Minn., Snowgren is undecided on her major at Colorado. Her favorite athletes are Annika Sorenstam and Michael Jordan, and she met Kevin Costner while he was filming “Tin Cup.”
