2002-03: In a pair of tournaments playing as an individual, Westbrook owned an 89.0 stroke average in her second season at Colorado. She shot a pair of 89s at the Highlands Ranch Intercollegiate to finish 42nd with a two-round 178, and a week later matched her 36-hole score at CU's Heather Farr Memorial with a 91 and second round collegiate low 87 to finish 84th.
2001-02: Redshirted and did not compete.
High School: As a freshman Westbrook was a member of Thompson Valley's boys' golf team as there was no girls' team. A major factor in the upstart of the girls' team the following season, the Eagles played as a combined program with Loveland High School her sophomore and junior seasons where she was an All-Northern Front Range performer both seasons. She repeated her all-league honor when the two girls' teams split, sharing the No. 1 role with then prep teammate Robin Worthington. She also played four seasons and lettered as a forward and center for coach Barry Olsen and TVHS's girls basketball team and was a middle hitter for two seasons on the volleyball team. She was the Gatorade Colorado High School Coaches Association Scholarship winner as a senior. The biggest moment of her playing career has been being part of the original Thompson Valley golf team.
Personal: Kimberly Marie Westbrook was born Sept. 7, 1981, in Loveland, Colo. She is the daughter of Bill and Cindy Westbrook of Loveland. Her younger sister, Mandy, played all varsity tournaments as a freshman.
In The Classroom: A declared kinesiology major in CU's College of Arts and Sciences, Westbrook was a multiple-time member of the Dean's List and last spring was named to the President's List with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Her 3.839 cumulative is the second-highest on the team and one of the best in the athletic department. She would like to go into sports psychology after graduation and aspires to work at the United States Olympic Training Center. She is a member of the CU President's Leadership Class, a two-year academic leadership program. She has interned at Children's Hospital in Denver in the endocrinology unit.
