1999-00 – Did not compete due to injury.
1998-99 – Did not compete due to continuous back problems.
1997-98 – Redshirt. Did not compete.
High School – Lettered three times for her head coach Rick Unlir and the Boulder girls’ golf team, helping the Panthers qualify for the state tournament and an eventual third-place team finish as a sophomore, a seventh-place team finish as a junior, and qualifying as an individual her senior season. She was an all-Centennial Conference selection as a senior, when she served as team captain, and also earned the Panther Excellence Award, the most prestigious award given to Boulder High’s student-athletes, at the conclusion of her final year as a prep (no Boulder athlete had been so honored in the 10 years before Isham received the award). She sparkled in the classroom as well, spending time on Boulder’s honor roll.
Other – Isham’s stepfather, Mark Simpson, is the coach of the men’s golf team at Colorado, and she lists the biggest moment of her prep career as the first time she broke 80, when she happened to be playing with coach Simpson. She also participates in Tae Kwon Do, and has had opportunities to meet professional golf standouts Steve Jones and Fred Couples.
Personal – Born April 26, 1979, in Denver, Colo. She has eventual plans for a career as a professional golfer or a college golf coach, or may enter a career as an interior decorator.
In the Classroom – Isham is a communication major at Colorado’s college of Arts & Sciences.
