Her season-best round was a 72 in the second round of the Heather Farr Memorial in October, leading her to a seventh-place finish with a two-round score of 151. Bellinger was also tied for seventh at the Mountain View Classic in February when she shot 73-76--149, and she tied for ninth at the Utah Dixie Classic, going 77-75-80--232. She had 16 rounds in the 70s during the year and 25 of her 29 rounds counted towards the team score, best on the team. Additionally, she had three top-10 finishes and four top-20s.

1999-00 – Bellinger continued her assault on the CU record books during her third season in Boulder. That list includes lowest three-season stroke average (78.81), 54-hole tournament (+8), fewest strokes over par, one round (1), most career rounds in the 70s (52), most career top-10 finishes (6) and most career top-20 finishes (10). She has also finished as CU's No. 1 player in 9-of-10 tournaments this year with top-20 finishes in three of those 10.She made her third-straight appearance on the Academic All-Big 12 first team with a 3.316 GPA in marketing. At the Championships, she shot a 79-72-151 on the Legacy Golf Links (Aberdeen, N.C.). She qualified for match play winning the first and second rounds, before dropping in the third. When she made it to the final 16 in the second round, she did so beating one of the top-20 amateur players in the country. At the end of June she shot a 78-78- at the Colorado Women's Open in Aurora.

1998-99 – The school-record setting momentum Bellinger had as a freshman carried into her second season when she bettered CU’s school record for an 18-hole-low in a conference championship with 73 at the Big 12 Championships in Boulder. The only Buff to play in all 11 season tournaments, her 31 tournament rounds was just one shy of the school record for rounds in a season, and led her to the program’s highest number of rounds scored in (30) and the second-lowest stroke average of the season (78.00). She scored in all 15 fall rounds and 15 of 16 during the spring campaign. Her best overall finish of her sophomore season was a fourth-place effort at both the BYU Invitational, tying teammate Taya Battistella, and in the final tournament of the year, the Big 12 Championships. She was one of 144 women to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Amateur by firing a 76 in Phoenix, Ariz. and in Asheville she shot 81-81. At the Western Am in Fishers, Ind., she finished 10th in stroke play and advanced to match play where she lost in the first round to an eventual member of the Curtis Cup Team.

1997-98 – Hit the ground running as a true freshman, leading the team with an 80.43 stroke average in 30 tournament rounds, the lowest average ever for a first-year Buffalo. Her best finish was a fourth-place nod at the Cal State-Northridge Invitational. She earned first-team academic all-Big 12 honors to boot.

High School – Lettered each of her four years on the coed Palm Desert golf team for coach Tim Kabeary. Bellinger was one of three girls on the 31-person team that was named Desert Valley League Champions from 1994 to 1997. The team also took top honors in the CIF-SCGA Championships in her freshman year, when she was named the team’s most improved golfer. She is a three-time winner of the Dinah Shore Award, presented to the Desert Junior Golf Association’s top player, and finished second in the 1996 AJGA Izzo Colorado Junior Roundup, played at Legacy Ridge Golf Course in Westminster.

Other – Bellinger sparkled in the classroom at Palm Desert, spending her entire prep career on the honor roll and earning four academic letters to go along with her varsity accolades. She lists her favorite part of her prep career as the chance she was given – as a member of a coed team – to compete “with the guys.”

Personal – Born Dec. 6, 1978, in Miles City, Mont., a high school teammate, Nicole Dalkas, is currently a member of the USC women’s golf team. Bellinger was also recruited by Texas Tech, New Mexico, San Diego State and Pepperdine, but chose Colorado because of the environment and the atmosphere surrounding the women’s golf team.

In the Classroom – Bellinger will carry a 3.295 grade point average in marketing into her senior season. She is a three-time (1998, 1999, 2000) first team Academic all-Big 12 performer.
