SENIOR (2016): Salvador played in 19 of 20 games and started in five as a defensive midfielder. The senior was a key player on defense, helping the Buffs become sixth in the country for a scoring margin of 6.35. Salvador finished her senior season with two goals off eight shots, nine groundballs, three draw controls and six caused turnovers. She started the season with a groundball in three straight games in the wins over No. 9 Northwestern, No. 16 Massachusetts and Stetson. Salvador had her first goal of the season along with two draw controls in the 18-6 win over Winthrop on March 15. She scored again in the game against Fresno State on March 25.

JUNIOR (2016): Salvador saw action in all 18 games and started four times at midfielder and defender. She helped the Buffs to the second-best scoring defense in the MPSF and the seventh-best in the nation at 7.00 goals allowed per game. She totaled two goals, eight shot attempts, 16 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. She started the first three games of the season and caused two turnovers and had two ground balls at No. 7/6 Notre Dame on Feb. 26, her third start of the year. She scored a goal in a 19-4 win over Marist on March 21 and another in a 14-3 win at UC Davis on April 1. Her three ground balls were a season high in a 16-3 win at San Diego State, where she also caused two turnovers. She had a season-high three turnovers and had two ground balls in a 16-4 win over California, her fourth start of the season.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Salvador saw action in all 18 games and had starts in 14. She tallied seven goals, two of which were game winners, and 10 ground balls. With 14 shots on goal she earned a percentage of .875 in her sophomore season. She had a season-high four ground balls in a win over Presbyterian on March 2. She found the net twice in reserve action in a 17-7 win over UMass Lowell on March 27 and scored again in the next game, a 13-5 win over UC Davis. Salvador had her first hat trick with three goals in a 21-5 victory over Saint Mary's (Calif.) on April 17. She scored her final goal of the season in the first round of the MPSF Tournament on April 30 in a win over San Diego State. Salvador started the final 10 games of the year. She netted the game-winning goals against UC Davis and Saint Mary's (Calif.).

FRESHMAN (2014): Salvador was an important force on both the attack and in the midfield. She was one of seven Buffs to start all 19 games of the inaugural season. Salvador recorded 12 points off eight goals (two from the 8-meter arc) and four assists. She took 24 shots, sending 18 on goal. She scooped up 21 ground balls, while winning eight draws and causing eight turnovers. Salvador had a stellar start to her collegiate career, scoring a goal, grabbing a ground ball and winning two draws in her first game. The next game, she had her first of three two-point games, scoring a goal and a adding an assist off a season-high four shots. She continued the trend at home, scoring a goal in back-to-back games against Regis and Temple. In a month’s time, Salvador recorded points in five of seven games, netting two goals against New Hampshire and recording a season-high four ground balls against Brown. Against San Diego State, Salvador assisted the game-tying goal, helping the Buffs come from behind and beat the Aztecs 7-6 in overtime.
HIGH SCHOOL: In four seasons with the Monroe Township lacrosse team, Salvador scored 122 goals and contributed 68 assists. She was named the team's most improved player her freshman year. She continued improving, becoming a three-time first-team All-GMC selection. She was named her team's offensive MVP as a junior. Her senior year, she was honored as an all-area selection and Monroe Scholar Athlete. She was a member of the Tri-State Lacrosse - Black team her first three years of high school. In 2012, the team posted an 11-3-2 record, and Salvador was named the team's MVP at the Downington, Penn. Tournament. She was also a three-year varsity starter for both the Monroe Township field hockey and track teams. As a senior, she was the field hockey team captain and earned second-team All-Northern New Jersey honors. She also earned back-to-back first-team All-GMC honors in field hockey. She was a sprinter, hurdler and shot putter for the track team, running the 55-yard dash in 8.3 seconds.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Salvador majored in integrative physiology.
PERSONAL: Amanda Rose Salvador was born January 30, 1995, to Richard and Anna Salvador. Her twin Melissa is also a member of the Buffaloes. She enjoys dancing and doing ceramics and nail art. She's a fan of Taylor Swift and the New York Giants. Her favorite athlete is Gabby Douglas. She was the vice president of her junior class, the girl representative for her town's rec advisory board and a member of the National Honor Society. She chose CU for the atmosphere and the experience of being somewhere totally different from her hometown. After graduation, she hopes to become an athletic trainer.
