Sophomore (1996): Siegel made five appearances as a midfielder and had two shot attempts. She had an assist against No. 6 Nebraska on Oct. 13.
CU Club Team: She enrolled at Colorado in the fall of 1995. Siegel was on CU's club soccer team that won the national title in soccer.
High School: Earned four letters as a midfielder for Amador Valley High School, Pleasanton, Calif. where she was coached by Mike Milton. Siegel was honored as an all-league selection her senior year and was a member of the Pleasanton Power, a local club team which earned berths in the California State Cup semifinals from 1990-95. She was also a standout in cross country and track which earned her four and three more letters, respectively. She was at her best in the classroom, spending all four of her years as a prep on Amador Valley's honor roll. She was also a member of the French Honor Society and graduated in the top five percent of her class.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology, Siegel was born December 29, 1976, in Livermore, California. She has hopes for an eventual career in pediatrics. Her parents are Harvey and Margo Siegel of Pleasanton, Calif., and her full name is Amy Jennifer Siegel.
