FRESHMAN (2011): Madden made nine appearances as a reserve forward and had one assist for CU in 142 minutes. She earned her only assist in a 3-0 win over Northern Colorado on Aug. 21.
HIGH SCHOOL: Madden had a solid senior season and led her Fenwick High School team to its first conference win in school history. She was the team's leading scorer with 24 goals and contributed seven assists en route to being named to the all-area and all-East Suburban Catholic Conference teams. As a captain, she also was awarded all-state honors for her performances. She led Fenwick's soccer team scoring 15 goals and 13 assists her junior year, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors. She also earned an all-conference selection and was an all-area team honorable mention. She made the all-tournament team during the Catholic Cup her junior year. As a sophomore, she led the team in assists with 15 and contributed six goals on the season. She was an all-area team honorable mention and an all-conference selection her sophomore year. She was a member of the Chicago Fire Juniors Club Team and led her team to the win first place in the 2010 MRL Tournament. The same year her team won the SLSG Girls Fall Classic. Madden was also a Suburban Parochial League Cross Country Champion (2003-06), and she is in the Saint Cletus School Hall of Fame.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Madden is currently an open option major at Colorado.
PERSONAL: Madden is the daughter of John and Cathy Madden of LaGrange, Ill. She has two brothers, John and Kevin, and a sister, Nora. She lists her hobbies as hanging out with friends and family and skiing. During high school she worked as a summer camp counselor and volunteered for a local homeless shelter.
