Sophomore (1996): Robinson started 14 games as a midfielder and had one goal and one assist with 17 shot attempts. She had an assist in a 4-1 win over Wyoming on Sept. 25. She scored at Colorado College on Oct. 19 to tie the game at 1-1 in the fifth minute of the game.

CU Club Team: She enrolled at Colorado in the fall of 1995. Robinson was on the Buff's national title winning club soccer team.

High School: Earned three letters at Grand Haven High School, Grand Haven, Mich. While being coached by Cor Daruhuis. She holds a school record for the most goals scored in a single junior varsity season and saved most of her efforts for the varsity. She was a three-time all-conference selection, named all-region her sophomore and junior years and earned all-state honors as a junior, and was the team's captain as a senior, but an injury relegated her to the sideline for most of the season. Robinson also participated on Grand Haven's tennis (two letters) and ski (four letters) teams, earning all-conference honors for the latter as the team's captain her senior year. She was a standout in the classroom, graduating from Grand Haven with high honors. She also participated in Grand Haven's student senate, symphony, band and thespian society. She was the homecoming queen as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in environmental studies and economics, Robinson was born June 2, 1977 and has plans for an eventual career in business or law. Her parents are Michael and Jane Robinson of Spring Lake, Mich. Her full name is Dayna Lynn Robinson.
