FRESHMAN (2016): Redshirted and did not appear in any matches.
CLUB TEAM: She played for Forza in Farmington, Utah, and was coached by Dave Newman. With Portneuf Valley Soccer Club, she won a state championship in 2011 and played in ECNL Nationals in 2015 with the Utah Avalanche.
HIGH SCHOOL: Yost was a four-time all-area player in high school. She played her last two years at Woods Cross High School in Utah, but graduated from Century High School in Idaho. As a junior in 2014, she led Class 4A with 32 goals and was second overall in the state. In four years, she totaled 105 goals. She was the Woods Cross player of the year as a senior and MVP as a junior. She was coached by Dave Newman.
IN THE CLASSROOM: She plans to major in biochemistry and wants to continue on to med school after graduation.
PERSONAL: She was born Kennedy Kara Yost on Aug. 11, 1998, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the daughter of Gentry and Laura Yost and has three siblings, Chandler, Burkleigh and Evan. Her sister Chandler played soccer at Southern Utah University. Yost plans on majoring in biochemistry and is also interested in bio-medical engineering and plans on continuing to medical school after graduation, working towards becoming a pediatrician. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, sleeping and tumbling.
