Danaja is a welcomed addition to the middle blocker position and will provide great depth. Adding size to our roster, she will develop into a strong offensive option for this young team as we continue to build.
Pre-Colorado
Novakovic's high school did not sponsor volleyball. Her club team placed second in the league championship in 2008. She was named the Best Blocker for the league that season.
Personal
Danaja Novakovic was born on May 15, 1991. She is the daughter of Peter and Diana Novakovic and has one brother, Nikša, and two sisters, Isabella and Susana. Novakovic is fluent in English, German and Croatian.
Academics
Novakovic intends to major in journalism.
