Naber came in a semester early and that has really helped her in her progress to add to the team. She has a lot of raw tools that are developing and it’s only a matter of time until she starts to make a huge impact.

High School

Naber earned three letters as a member of the West Ottawa High School volleyball team. She was named all-conference her sophomore through senior seasons and set the school’s blocking record her senior season. Naber was also named to the Holland All-Area and Zeeland All-Area team all three years. She lists her biggest moment as beating the No. 1 ranked East Kentwood High School team her junior season when WOHS finished 35-17. Naber was also recruited by Virginia, Colorado State, Michigan State, Michigan and Western Michigan.

Personal

Naber was born on September 12, 1990 in Holland, Michigan. She is the daughter of Pamela and Kirk Johnson and the late Andre Naber. She has three older brothers, Jason, Brandon and Derek. Naber lists her hobbies as ceramics, drawing and painting. She enjoys hiking, biking, snowboarding, camping, white water rafting and kayaking.

Academics

Naber is an open major at Colorado but is interested in art education. She aspires to be a high school art teacher after graduation. Naber was a scholar athlete her sophomore through senior seasons.
