Samantha Peters joins the Colorado volleyball staff in August 2019 as the Director of Volleyball Operations. Peters is a Colorado native and no stranger to Division I volleyball, having played for Santa Clara for a season and for Colorado State from 2011 to 2013, including when Jesse Mahoney was the assistant coach. She recently served as a territory manager for Ethos Laboratories and prior to that was a Market Development Manager for Swire Coca-Cola for three years.

Peters, a Cherry Creek alum, was the Mountain West Player of the Year and All-American Honorable mention for the Rams. She helped lead CSU to a 28-2 record in 2013. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She also was a pair of the CSU Athletics Sports Marketing in her undergrad and was a play-by-play announcer for Stream It Sports.

Peters is the daughter of Jenny and Mark Peters. Her mother Jenny was a CU alum. She has one sister and loves spending time with her two pups, Maggie and Trigger.
