Ted Kopacz joined the Colorado volleyball staff in January of 2021. Originally hailing from LIbertyville, Illinois, Kopacz played collegiate volleyball at Indiana University from 2012 to 2016, where he was a captain and earned All-Big Ten and All-MIVA honors. He graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Informatics and Computing, with a focus on sports analytics.
While at Libertyville High School, Kopacz found himself on the Illinois top 20 all-time records list for career assists, assists per match, assists per game and most assists in a single match.
Prior to joining the CU staff, Kopacz has been a senior account manager at bswift, while also offering his services as a high school coaching consultant, working with several different clubs and high school teams in the Chicagoland area. Kopacz enjoys spending his off-time being active, whether it is hiking, skiing, or just playing more volleyball.
