COLORADO WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO UNDEFEATED BAYLOR

WACO, Texas -The University of Colorado women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Baylor Sunday afternoon in the team's last road contest before heading home for its Sept. 25 match with Wyoming.
The Buffaloes drop to 1-3-1 (0-2 Big 12) with the loss. Baylor moves to a near-perfect 6-0-1.
Baylor used two first-half goals to take an early 2-0 lead, then allowed its defense to sit back and control the pace of the game. A final Baylor goal with just over three minutes left in the game clinched the decision.
The game marked Colorado's last competitive action until the Sept. 25 home tilt with Wyoming, giving head coach Austin Daniels and the Buffaloes ten days before they take the field again. The game against the Cowboys is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. MDT at the Pleasant View Soccer Complex in Boulder.
