AMHERST, N.Y. - Kate Fagan and Randie Wirt each scored 15 points as Colorado beat Buffalo 76-47 Thursday night for its seventh straight win.

Colorado (10-1) took control from the opening tip, scoring the first nine points. They led 25-6 with 6:51 to go in the first half and 37-14 at intermission.

Buffalo (7-2) had its five-game winning streak snapped.

Sabrina Scott and Tera Bjorklund each had 11 points, and Veronica Johns-Richardson added 10 points and a career-high four steals for Colorado.

Wirt's layup with 9:50 left gave Colorado its biggest lead, 59-27.

Kate McMeeken-Ruscoe led Buffalo (7-2) with 15 points. Allison Bennett and Kim Kilpela had 10 points apiece.

Colorado shot 44.4 percent from the field during the opening half and forced the Bulls into 14 turnovers. Buffalo shot just 25.9 percent for the half.
