Tennis Earns Five Singles, Three Doubles Titles At USAFA Invite

All five singles winners each won three matches en route to first place honors.
Freshman Camila Belassi (Flight I), sophomore Franziska Jendrian (Flight II), junior Veera Nurmi (Flight III), junior Gleisy Torres Torres (Flight V) and freshman Christina Macey (Flight IX) all claimed first place honors in singles.
In doubles, three CU tandems claimed the winners' circle. Winning all three matches they played were Belassi and Martina Sedivec in Flight III and in Flight IV, Nurmi and Allison Quinn.

With each of their flight victories, Belassi, Jendrian and Nurmi all improved to 5-1 this fall season, while Torres Torres remained unbeaten at 4-0. Macey's three wins in her flight improved her fall record to 3-2.
Belassi and Nurmi achieved the most success this weekend winning three singles and three doubles matches.
Picking up the lone bronze medal singles finish was Quinn, who triumphed in Flight VIII.
