
Tennis Snaps Skid, Defeats San Francisco, 7-0

The Buffaloes, ranked No. 29 nationally in the latest Fila/Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings (ITA) improve to 11-6 for their first win on its seven-match road trip spanning four states. The victory is CU's first since March 14 when upsetting then-No. 14 William & Mary.
The Dons (8-9) represent the West Coast Conference had their longest winning streak of the season snapped at five and fall to 8-9.
The only other singles sweep came at No. 4 with Gleisy Torres Torres defeating Jenny Sperry 6-1, 6-3.
Milewski and Torres Torres each have a team-best 12 dual singles victories.
Other winners for the Buffaloes in three sets were Franziska Jendrian, Melisa Esposito and Victoria Almagno.
Jendrian defeated Mylene Martin 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 at No. 3; Esposito edged Joana Macedo 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 at No. 5; and Almagno won her first spring singles match defeating Lauren Hickey 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 at No. 6.
Jendrian has 11 dual victories and Esposito won her 10th.
In doubles, CU collected a pair of wins from Jendrian/Milewski defeating Macedo/Sperry, 8-4 and at No. 3 Esposito/Sedivec edged Hickey/Taylor, 8-6.
Jendrian/Milewski have won 11 dual matches, while CU's No. 55 nationally ranked doubles team of Esposito/Sedivec have won nine of 10.
CU is idle until Friday, April 6 when they travel to the
No. 29
