Women's Golf 16th Through Two Rounds

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. ? The University of Colorado women's golf team finished the second round Tuesday morning after play was suspended yesterday due to darkness and are in 16th place in the 2007 Ron Moore Intercollegiate.

Sophomore Julie Kim closed out the first two rounds with a score of 78-75??153 and leads all Buffs in a tie for 27th. Kim's three-over 75 in the second round is currently the team-low in the tournament. Freshman Stephanie Simich followed Kim, shooting a four-over 76 in the first round, followed by an 81 in the second round, good for a tie for 52nd.

Sophomore Dominique Pytlewski and Senior Lindsay Senger are both currently tied for 57th, each with a total score of 158 through two rounds. Pytlewski was one-over through her last eight holes this morning as she wrapped up the second round, bumping her up eight spots in the individual standings.

Cierra Ko finished the first two rounds with a score of 87-82?169, while freshman walk-on Jessica Milner, competing in the tournament as an individual, shot for a score of 83-89?172 in her first collegiate outing.
