-With tonight's 75-56 CU win, Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik keeps his perfect record against CSU (6-0) and against all teams in the state of Colorado (13-0)

-CU went on a 43-16 run to end the game after CSU took an 8-point lead (40-32) with 16:03 left in the game

-There were 5,963 fans at the Coors Events Center tonight, the most the arena has seen so far this season

-CU has made a 3-pointer in 202 straight games

-CU's 58.3% field goal percentage is the team's highest all season; it is the highest FG percentage the team has had since Feb. 9, 2008 vs. Oklahoma (60.6%)

-CU advances to 4-1 on the season when shooting over 50 percent from the field

-CU is now 3-0 on the season when Tomlinson, Thorne II, Higgins, Jackson-Wilson, and Dufault all start

-CU was tied with its opponent at halftime for the first time this season (28-28)

 -CU recorded its least number of turnovers all season (8); their previous season-low was 10 (Ark.-Pine Bluff, 11/14); eight is the lowest number of CU turnovers since they had six on Feb. 22 2006 at Nebraska

-Four CU players recorded 10+ points tonight (Higgins, Dufault, Tomlinson, Thorne II) for the fifth time this season

-Seven different CU players all recorded at least one assist tonight; four of those players tallied at least three assists

-CU tallied six 3-pointers from four different players (Higgins, Dufault, Tomlinson, Thorne II)

-Higgins' 33 points scored are the most in the Events Center since Michel Morandais scored 33 (Feb. 23, 2002)

 

Cory Higgins

-Started in his 39th consecutive game tonight

-Recorded a career-high 33 points; it is the first time in his career he has ever scored 30 or more points

-The first CU player to score 30+ points in a game since Richard Roby scored 32 (Mar. 13, 2008 vs. Baylor)

-Scored 20 or more points for the third time in his career

-Recorded 10 or more points for the sixth time in seven games

-Tallied 11 field goals, the most in his career, on a career-high 16 attempts

-Scored a career-best three 3-pointers on a career-high five attempts

-Led the team in scoring for the fourth time this season

-Led the team in steals (3) for the third time this season

 

Nate Tomlinson

-Recorded his seventh 3-pointer of the season; he is second in 3-pointers on the team

-Scored 10 or more points for the fourth time this season

-Shot 5-of-6 in field goals and 1-of-2 in 3-pointers

 

Dwight Thorne II

-Scored 10 or more points for the fifth time this season

-Tied his season-best in assists (3)

-Tied his season-high in steals (2)

 

Toby Veal

-Played a career- and season-high 10 minutes, recording his first basket as a Buffalo while shooting 100 percent (1-of-1) from the floor

-He also racked up his career-high in rebounds (2)

 

Jermyl Jackson-Wilson

-Has a block in every game, including tonight's, leading the team with nine

-Recorded a season-best four assists

 

Austin Dufault

-Has started in all seven games

-Recorded his fifth 3-pointer of the season

-Scored 10 or more points for the sixth time in seven games

-Tied a season-best four defensive rebounds
