CU-Colgate WBB Game Still On, Fans Urged To Exercise Caution

BOULDER - The University of Colorado women's basketball game against Colgate University set for tonight at 7 p.m. will be played as scheduled at the Coors Events Center, despite the CU-Boulder campus closing today at 3 p.m., due to adverse winter weather conditions.

A winter storm warning is in effect for the region through tonight. Anywhere from 5 to 10 inches of snow are expected in the area with travel not being recommended.

CU Athletics is urging fans who are still planning on attending tonight's game to exercise extreme caution when traveling as road conditions are expected to deteriorate, and temperatures continue to drop, throughout the day and evening.
