Track & Field Season Off To Quick Start

USAFA, Colo. —The Buffaloes started the 2014-15 track and field season on Friday at the Air Force Holiday Open.
Austin Mitsch led the University of Colorado with a pair of top five performances. He was fourth overall in the men's 60-meter dash, finishing in 6.95 seconds. He also recorded a fifth-place finish in the 300-meter run, clocking in at 35.52.
Isiah Kaiser made his CU debut and earned a fourth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles. He raced to a time of 9.03. Kaiser also ran in the 300 and placed ninth overall in 36.68. Jay Skrine also ran for the first time in black and gold and took 13th in the 60-meter dash (7.14).
The Buffs won both men's and women's mile relays as well. The men's team finished in 3:18.20, while the women clocked in at 3:52.98.
The Buffs are off until January when they will travel back to the U.S. Air Force Academy for the All-Comers Meet on January 10, 2014.
