The Buffaloes are 20-9 overall and 9-7 in the Pac-12. Colorado now has a home mark of 15-1.

The victory against Arizona was the 400th Colorado win at the Coors Events Center.

This is now Colorado's 9th 20 win season and 5th under Tad Boyle. It's just the fifth time Colorado has reached 20 wins in the regular season and third time in the last four years.

The Buffs' victory over Arizona snaps an 11 game losing streak against ranked teams. The last time the Buffs beat a ranked team was Jan. 5, 2014 against No. 10/9 Oregon, 100-91. It's the highest Associated Press ranked opponent CU has beaten since defeating No. 6 Kansas, 75-72, on Dec. 7, 2013.

Colorado is now 15-1 when leading at the half.

Attendance at Coors Events Center on Wednesday night was 11,309 (sell out), the third largest in history of the facility.

Both teams had 38 rebounds Wednesday night. This is only the third time all year an opponent had as many or more rebounds as Arizona in 28 games. Gonzaga out-rebounded Arizona 41-40 and Fresno State matched Arizona with 31 rebounds. Arizona (+11.4) and Colorado (+9.2) entered the contest ranked 1-2 in rebound margin in the Pac-12.

Tallying 12 rebounds against Arizona, Gordon took the 17th spot on the all-time rebounding list with a total of 636.

He set a new career-high six assists.

 

Josh Scott (26 points, 9 rebounds)

Scott scored a season-high 26 points and he made 8-of-12 from the field in the second half including a run of six straight.

Wednesday night was Scott's 24th 20-point career game.

His six free throws gave him sole control of the second spot on the all-time list with a total of 481.

He had his 115th game start. One more will tie him with Richard Roby for third in most all-time game starts.

Dominique Collier (3 points, 2 rebounds)

Collier tied his season-best three steals. This is the fifth time this year he has had three.

George King (14 points, 7 rebounds)

Averaging 6.9 rebounds over the last eight games.
