Colorado's lead in the series is trimmed to 12-6. The Beavers have won 5-of-7 all-time meetings in Corvallis. The loss drops the Buffaloes to 17-7, 6-5 in the Pac-12; their first two-game losing streak in conference games this year.

Colorado won the battle of the boards 47-29, marking the 21st time in 24 games the Buffs have outrebounded their opponent (17-4 record in those games). Colorado's plus-18 rebound margin is its highest in Pac-12 play this year and fourth-best overall. Colorado's 18 offensive rebounds was a Pac-12 season high and tied for its overall season best.

The Buffaloes have shot just 33.0 percent in the first half the last three games (30-of-91). Colorado's 19 first half points was its lowest this season in the first 20 minutes and ties for the lowest half overall (19 at Stanford in the second half).

Colorado lost for the first time this year when shooting  a better percentage from the field than its opponent (12-1).

Colorado's 24 turnovers were a season high and the team's most since committing 24 at Kansas State on March 7, 2009.

Colorado featured the starting lineup of Dominique Collier, Xavier Talton, George King, Wesley Gordon and Josh Scott for the first time this season. This is the fifth different starting lineup for the Buffs.

Today was Tad Boyle's 200th game as the head coach at Colorado. With a record of 125-75, he is Colorado's career leader in winning percentage at .625 (minimum 2 seasons).

Wesley Gordon (13 points, 11 rebounds) recorded his third double-double of the season, and eighth of his career. Two of his three double-doubles have come against Oregon State (12 points, 14 rebounds on Jan. 13). His five field goals was a season high. Gordon jumped from 22nd to 20th in career rebounds, now with 586. He passed Scott Wilke (576 from 1984-88) and Alex Stivrins (583 from 1983-85).

Tre'Shaun Fletcher (15 points, 6 rebounds, 6-of-9 FG) scored a Pac-12 high 15 points and tied career-bests with six rebounds and two steals. He was 6-of-9 from the field after making just 6-of-22 the previous four games. It was his sixth double-figure scoring game of the year and the 11th of his career. He made both of his free throw attempts putting him at 23-of-26 during Pac-12 play (.885).

Josh Scott played in his 116th career game tying for 17th on CU's all-time list. He recorded his 113th start which is fourth in CU history. He was held below double-digit scoring for the first time this season. Scott was limited to just 16 minutes and did not play in the second half (injury).

Scott and George King, Colorado's top two scorers combining for 31.3 points per game, were held to just two points, going a combined 0-of-9 from the field.

Tory Miller (8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks) has 45 rebounds over the last seven games (6.4 rpg), more than half coming on the offensive end (3.3 orpg). He is averaging 8.0 points and 6.5 rebounds the last four games. Miller tied his career-high with three blocked shots.

Xavier Talton (9 points, 5 rebounds, 3-of-4 3FG) played in his 125th career game, fourth on CU's all-time list. His three 3-pointers is a season high; he had been just 3-of-11 from 3-point range in the first 10 Pac-12 games. He made his 29th career start and first of the season.
