CU freshman now holds a 120-lead in the NorAm Cup standings in the men’s slalom

VAIL, Colo. – University of Colorado freshman alpine skier David Ketterer has won a third-straight slalom race in a NorAm Cup event, doing so Friday at Vail Mountain.

Ketterer won Friday's race with a two-run time of 1:57.14, just four one-hundredths of a second ahead of Canada's Trevor Philp.

With his three wins in the NorAm Cup events, Ketterer maintains a lead in the slalom standings with 360 points. He has a 120-point lead over Hig Roberts, a native of Steamboat Springs, Colo., who skied collegiately at Middlebury and is a now member of the U.S. Ski Team.
