Klecker, Scott and Robinson Named Arrow CU Athletes of the Week

This week's CU Athlete of the Week awards presented by Arrow go to Men's Track standout Joe Klecker, Women's Track star Gabby Scott, and Women's Basketball's Alexis Robinson.
On the men's side, Senior Joe Klecker has been turning heads all season long and dropped jaws
this past week by breaking a 20-year-old CU record in the Men's 5,000 (13:35.97). Astonishingly, Klecker was not the only Buff to break Track records last week. Women's Track sensation Gabby Scott broke not one, but two school records, including the fastest ever 400 run (53.22) in a CU uniform. It was a productive week to say the least for the University of Colorado Track and Field program as three long-lasting records were shattered.
Switching over to the basketball court, Women's Basketball senior Alexis Robinson had herself a career night in their matchup against the UCLA Bruins. Robinson scored a career-high 33 points. Later in the week Robinson posted 16 points in Colorado's 81-76 win over the Trojans of USC. In that game, the senior hit a key 3-point shot with 32.7 seconds left to play to give the Buffs a 79-74 lead and ultimately seal the deal for the team. Robinson averaged 24.5 point per game along with an impressive 4.5 rebounds per game.
