The men and women's throwers posted four marks in the CU top 10, taking two collegiate wins along the way and one school record. Gya'ni Sami bettered her own CU school record with a second-place overall finish tossing the weight 19.62 meters (64-4.5). She finished as the top collegiate finisher. Unattached athlete Amanda Opp moved to third in CU history with a toss of 18.23 meters (59-9.75) while Bella Braun finished fifth overall with a toss of 16.70 meters (54-9.5) to move to 10^th in CU history.

On the men's side, Tyler Sconce wThe University of Colorado weight throwers had the best day in throws history here Friday at the Air Force Collegiate Open.on the men's weight throw with a toss of 19.12 meters (62-8.75). Behind him, Isaiah Bouchard cracked the top 10 in CU history with the 10^th-best mark at 17.54 meters (57-6.5), good for 10^th in CU history.

In addition to the throws wins, CU picked up wins in the women's high jump, women's long jump and men's 200-meter dash.

Allie Routledge cleared 5-10 for the second time in her career, clearing 1.79m (5-10.5) for the win in the high jump. Kara Lucyk took the long jump win with a jump of 5.56m (18-3). Routledge also placed second in the 60 hurdles in 9.47 seconds.

Luc Andrada picked up in the win in the 200-meter dash in 21.69 after finishing second in the 60-meter dash 6.78. The men also had three other second place finishes with Aidan Christiansen finishing second in the long jump in 6.95m (22-9.75), while Jackson Meyer finished second in the high jump in 1.95m (6-4.75). Cole Romig and Nick Nuhfer finished 2-3 in the 400 with times of 49.30 and 49.31, respectfully.

Also for the women, Lauren Whyrick and Meghan Whyrick placed second and third in the shot put, respectfully. Lauren threw 13.95m (45-9.25) while Meghan threw 12.84m (42-1.5).

The Buffs finish up the weekend with Avery McMullen and Jada Green in the 60 hurdle prelims at the USATF Indoor Championships tomorrow in Albuquerque.
