Buffs Head to UCCS for Indoor Meet

BOULDER -- The Colorado Buffaloes track and field programs will head down south to Colorado Springs this weekend to compete in the UCCS Pre-Holiday Indoor Meet on Friday and Saturday. This will mark as the second indoor meet of the season for the Buffs, after competing at the Mines Alumni Classic in Golden and the Sharon Colyear-Danville in Boston last weekend.
Colorado's Nick Bianco and Riley Ward led the way for the Buffs in those meets, with Bianco recording a personal best in the 60-meter hurdle (7.94) and the long jump (7.23 meters). Ward took home a first place finish on the podium in the high jump, posting a personal best of 1.75 meters.
Between both the men's and women's teams, the Buffs will be sending 15Â student-athletes (9 men, 6 women) down to Colorado Springs to compete in hurdle, multi-event, and throw squad events. Friday's action will begin at 11:30 a.m. MT while Saturday's events will start at 10 a.m. MT.

This will be the final indoor meet for the Buffaloes before the holiday break, and will be back in action in January when they will host the Potts Invitational in the Indoor Practice Facility on January 10-11.
