17 Student-Athletes Earned USTFCCCA Academic Honors

Men and Women team recognized on All-Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – Seventeen Colorado student-athletes were named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division I All-Academic Athlete list, while both the men's and women's teams earned spots on the All-Academic Team list for the 2023-24 NCAA Division I indoor and outdoor track and field seasons, the USTFCCCA announced Monday, July 15.
Women
Men
A total of 176 Division I men's teams were recognized by the USTFCCCA for earning a 3.00 GPA or higher. Colorado's men's team earned a 3.16 GPA, securing a spot on the All-Academic Team for the 2023-24 NCAA Division I Men's Track & Field season. On the women's side, 239 Division I women's teams were recognized. Colorado's women's team earned a 3.329 GPA, earning their spot on the team for the 2023-24 NCAA Division I Women's Track & Field season.
The women's team has made the All-Academic Team for 13 consecutive seasons, first appearing on the list in 2011.
To qualify for the team award, the squad must have a team cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better. CU's women recorded a 3.384 GPA and the men totaled a 3.026 GPA.
Individual athletes must have a GPA of 3.25 and have met either of the following athletic standards: for the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.
