BOULDER — Colorado quarterback Kaidon Salter and wide receiver Joseph Williams earned national honors following their performances in the Buffaloes' win over Iowa State.
Salter and Williams were named honorable mention selections for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week, while Salter was also recognized as one of the Davey O'Brien Great 8 quarterbacks of the week.

Salter completed 16 of 25 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions and added a team-leading 61 rushing yards in the upset victory over the Cyclones. Williams caught all eight of his targets for a game-high 128 yards and a touchdown.

This marks Salter's second recognition this season from both the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award and the Davey O'Brien Award. It is the first such honor for Williams, who was also named Player of the Week by the Colorado Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

The Buffaloes return to action Oct. 25 on the road at Utah. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. MT on ESPN.
