Season Tickets Sold Out For Third Straight Season

June 06, 2025 | Football

BOULDER—The Colorado Buffaloes have officially sold out of season tickets for the 2025 football season, selling out for the third straight season in the Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders Era, and for the 11th time in school history.

This is now the third time, all under Coach Prime, that season tickets have sold out before August of the upcoming football season. Before the 2023 season, it had been 27 years since the last sellout of season tickets, which occurred during a seven-year stretch from 1990 to 1996. The only other instance of CU selling out season tickets was during the 1972 season.

Colorado also achieved a season ticket renewal rate of 98 percent for the third consecutive season, marking the top three marks and three of only a handful of renewals over 90 percent in school history.  The Buffs also expanded season ticket inventory by 13 percent to meet the demands of the expanding fan base.

The 2025 season will be just the second in school history with more than six home games, as seven opponents will visit Folsom Field this year.  Georgia Tech will kick the season off on Friday, August 29, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. on ESPN.  The following week, Delaware will head to Folsom on Sept. 6 (1:30 p.m., FOX), followed by Wyoming on Sept. 20 for Family Weekend and BYU on Sept. 27 (8:15 p.m., ESPN).

October has just one home game on Oct. 11 when Iowa State visits Boulder, and November will see both Arizona schools come to Boulder with Arizona on Nov. 1, which will be CU's annual Homecoming game, and Arizona State on Nov. 22.

SINGLE GAME TICKETS
Single game tickets are on sale now. After growing the season ticket base, four of the seven home games are selling fast, including Georgia Tech, Wyoming, BYU, and Iowa State.  Fans are encouraged to purchase now before tickets are sold out.  A total of 10 of the 12 home games in the Coach Prime era have completely sold out.
