STILLWATER, Okla. – The Colorado women's basketball team (11-5, 2-2 Big 12) continues its road trip this weekend at Oklahoma State (13-4, 2-2 Big 12) on Jan. 11 at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at 12 p.m. MT.
The Buffs will face the Cowgirls for the 56th time in program history and are 3-7 in the teams' last 10 meetings. Last season, Colorado visited Oklahoma State and lost, 82-65 (Feb. 22, 2025). CU last beat OSU in the 2023-24 season in Boulder by 11 points, 86-75 (Nov. 12, 2023).
Earlier this week, the Buffs lost narrowly at Foster Pavilion to the 16th-ranked Baylor Bears, 56-52 (Jan. 8). The Buffs played a physical game and kept the Bears close, with the game seeing four lead changes and seven ties. CU and Baylor struggled to score in the second quarter, holding each other to single digits. The Buffs came within four with 26 seconds to go and nearly tied it up. Junior guards Zyanna Walker and Desiree Wooten led the Buffs in scoring with 16 and 13 points, respectively.

- In its second year back in the Big 12, Colorado was picked to finish ninth in the Big 12 Preseason Poll. Colorado is 111-151 (.425) overall in Big 12 conference play.
- With the re-addition of So. F Tabitha Betson to the 2025-26 roster, the Buffs return four from last year's team, also including Sr. F Jade Masogayo, So. G Kennedy Sanders and 5th C JoJo Nworie. Betson returns from a semester at home with her family after some time to recharge.
- Colorado welcomes 10 newcomers for the 2025-26 season, five transfers and five freshmen. The five transfers include Jr. G Zyanna Walker (Kansas State), Jr. G Desiree Wooten (North Texas), Jr. G Claire O'Connor (Gonzaga), Jr. G Maeve McErlane (DePaul) and Sr. F Anaëlle Dutat (Rhode Island). The five freshmen include G Erianna Gooden (Fork Smith, Ark./Northside H.S.), C Jade Crook (Albury, Australia/Basketball Australia Center of Excellence/Lake Ginninderra College), G Isa Hämäläinen (Lorentzweiler, Luxembourg/European School of Luxembourg 1), F Logyn Greer (Lansdowne, Pa./Friends' Central School) and F Sophie Zadel (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights H.S).
- Jr. G Zyanna Walker is tied for fourth in conference for steals per game with 2.3. She is also 15th for free throw percentage (71.9%) and tied for 24th in the Big 12 for assists per game (2.6). Walker recorded her ninth game this season with double-figure points, finishing with 16 against No. 16 Baylor (Jan. 8).
- Sr. F Anaëlle Dutat is third in conference for rebounds per game with 8.6 and tied for seventh for steals per game (2.1). Dutat recorded her sixth game this season with double-digit rebounds against No. 16 Baylor with 12 (Jan. 8).
- Sr. F Jade Masogayo is tied for 18th in conference for blocks per game with 0.8.
- Jr. G Desiree Wooten also finished the game against the 16th-ranked Baylor Bears in double-figure points with 13, her 11th game this season in double-digit points (Jan. 8).
- As a team, the Buffs are third in the Big 12 for steals per game (11.19), fourth for offensive rebounds per game (14.1), fifth for rebounding margin (8.0), seventh for turnover margin (3.25) and seventh for scoring defense (59.3).
