THE BUFFALOES: Colorado is 16-13 overall and tied with Arizona State for 11th place in the Big 12 Conference standings with a record of 6-10. The Buffaloes could mathematically reach as high as a tie for ninth in the final league standings, but tiebreakers are likely to cap them no higher than the 11th spot. Colorado was eliminated from the top half, and a potential first round bye, over the weekend.
The Buffaloes are 4-4 over their last eight games, with all four wins coming at the CU Events Center. Colorado has doubled its conference win total from a year ago and the win over K-State guarantees the Buffaloes will finish no lower than 14th in the final league standings.
Colorado heads to Salt Lake City for its final true road game of the season. The Buffaloes are 1-8 in road contests and have lost their last seven.

Additionally on the Big 12 charts, Hargress ranks sixth in field goal percentage and 13th in assists. He is the best field goal shooter in the Big 12, and 10th in the country, from the guard position. He is the second-best shooter in the nation listed at 6-foot-1, or shorter.
Sophomore Sebastian Rancik is second on the team in rebounding (5.6 rpg), free throws made (111) and attempted (129) and steals (27) and third in scoring (12.3 ppg) and assists (57). Rancik leads the team and ranks third in the Big 12 in free throw percentage at 86.0 percent.
Rancik pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds against Oklahoma State to go along with seven points and a pair of assists. The performance gave him double figures in rebounds for the third time in a four-game span. He also had 10 rebounds at BYU while dishing out a career-best six assists with nine points and a team-high three steals.
Rancik recorded his first career double-double with 17 points and a personal-best 11 rebounds in the home win over Arizona State. Four of those rebounds came off the offensive end, which is also a career high. He is averaging 7.5 rebounds over the last six games.
Junior forward Bangot Dak leads the Buffaloes and is 16th in the Big 12 at 6.4 rebounds per game and seventh in blocks at 1.5 per outing. He is fourth on the team in scoring at 10.9 points per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field.
Dak had 15 points and a pair of blocked shots at Houston. He recorded team season-high four blocked shots along with 10 points and six rebounds against Kansas State.
Dak was named to the Big 12 Starting Five on Feb. 23, honoring his standout performance against Oklahoma State. Dak scored a game-high 17 points, hitting 5 of 8 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line, along with seven rebounds and a pair of blocked shots.
It marks the first Big 12 weekly honor of any kind for Dak and the first for the Buffaloes since rejoining the conference last season. This is the first season of the Big 12 Starting Five, which honors strong performances across the conference. Dak is joined on the Big 12 Starting Five by Arizona's Anthony Dell'Orso, UCF's Themus Fulks, Cincinnati's Moustapha Thiam and BYU's AJ Dybantsa who claimed both Player and Newcomer of the Week honors.
Freshman guard Ian Inman is starting to make a big impact off the bench. Inman had 17 points, on 5 of 7 from 3-point range, and five rebounds - all career highs - in the win over Kansas State. It was his third career double-figure scoring game, all coming in the span of six contest. Inman has scored 55 of his season's 66 points in the last nine games (6.1 ppg).
