Buffs Ready For Big 12 Tournament

April 28, 2026 | Lacrosse

BOULDER - The 14th-ranked Colorado women's lacrosse team (12-3) will face off in a rematch of the regular season finale against Arizona State (8-9) in the semifinals of the 2026 Big 12 Lacrosse Tournament presented by Allstate at 5 p.m. on Thursday at Donald R. Dizney Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.

The Buffaloes will travel to Florida for a rematch not only of the last game of the regular season but also of last year's Big 12 Tournament semifinals against the Sun Devils.

Those games ended in drastically different outcomes for the Buffs. Last year, the Buffs' season ended with an 18-12 loss to the Sun Devils, and this year it went final with a 19-5 win on Senior Day. The last win came with multiple impressive performances. Three different Buffs earned hat-tricks with Rowan Edson and Teagan Ryan scoring four goals apiece to go along with three from Rachel Kennedy. In goal, Elena Oh surrendered only four goals in 51 minutes of action.

This Thursday's game against the Sun Devils will be the 15th meeting between the teams in program history.

Colorado is 11-11 all-time in conference tournaments, winning at least one game in 10 out of the 12 years.
