2019: Ran in all five varsity meets for CU, staring at the Joe Piane Invitational where he was 46th overall as CU’s sixth finisher ... at pre-nationals, he was the No. 7 runner for the Buffs, placing 41st ... in his first Pac-12 Championship, he finished 29th as CU’s No. 6 ... his finish held the Buff win the Pac-12 title; their seventh in nine years ... earned all-region honors at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, finishing 18th (CU’s No. 5) ... at NCAAs, he was 139th, CU’s sixth finisher, as the Buffs finished third as a team.
2018: Redshirt ... raced once unattached, finishing 39th at the Wyoming Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Owns three Hamilton Southeastern High School records ... set the school’s 5k cross country record of 14:46.3 in 2016 at the Indiana High School Athletic Associations Semi-State Championship where he placed second ... that year, he went on to place second at the state championship ... his other two school records came on the track ... ran a time of 4:04.70 en route to winning the 2017 1,600-meter state championship ... his record of 8:50.56 in the 3,200 also came in 2017, this time at the Arcadia Invitational where he placed 10th overall ... as a senior, he won the 2017 state cross country championship ... was also named a Foot Locker All-American as he finished 12th overall at the national meet.
