WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THE RALPHIE PROGRAM?
Starting when I was young I was always involved in team sports, and very athletically driven. When I arrived at CU the Ralphie Program seemed like a one of a kind opportunity that would combine my passion for athletics, animals, and competing.
WHAT DOES RALPHIE MEAN TO YOU?
To me Ralphie symbolizes the pride and tradition of the University of Colorado. She brings the whole CU community together, as she is the best mascot in the nation.
WHAT'S THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The hardest part of being a Ralphie handler is being able to manage your schedule around game-days, workouts, and events.
WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The best part of being a Ralphie Handler is being able to form a personal connection with the world's most famous buffalo. Also, everyone on the team becomes very close from all the time we spend together.
WHAT'S ONE THING THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE THE MOST WHEN THEY ASK YOU ABOUT BEING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
People are often surprised to hear how Ralphie's Handlers are considered D1 athletes, and how we train together multiple times per week year round.
WHAT'S ONE THING ABOUT RALPHIE THAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AFTER BECOMING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
One thing about Ralphie that surprised me was how she has such a playful personality, and has a unique relationship with everyone on the team. Ralphie knows our team and will act differently depending on who is around.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
Some of my favorite hobbies include skiing, playing sports, spending time with my dog, and almost anything outdoors. I also enjoy just hanging out with family and friends and watching a good movie.
