WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THE RALPHIE PROGRAM?
I have been coming to CU football games since a kid and have always wanted to be one of the people that showed others what this university is all about. I wanted to help carry on the tradition of caring for and running with the best college mascot in all of history.
WHAT DOES RALPHIE MEAN TO YOU?
Ralphie means to me the pride and tradition of the University of Colorado. The tradition is so deep within me that when I hear the word, “Ralphie,” or phrase, “SKO BUFFS!” I have to resist the urge to put on a cowboy hat and belt buckle.
WHAT'S THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
Trying to find time between waking up and getting to practice to shower, so I don’t look disheveled and grumpy. #ineedmymorningcoffee
WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
Having a family of teammates outside of my own family... and of course being in the new EA Sports College Football 25 game, seeing the Stanley Cup, being in the Coach Prime documentary, and the ability to give Ralphie as many back rubs as she wants.
WHAT'S ONE THING THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE THE MOST WHEN THEY ASK YOU ABOUT BEING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
People are usually surprised to hear that not only is Ralphie's location kept a secret, but Philip Schabarum can actually keep it a secret.
WHAT'S ONE THING ABOUT RALPHIE THAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AFTER BECOMING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
I was really surprised at how nice the ranch is that Ralphie is kept at.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
Competing in anything and everything. If anyone wants to race in a 100 meter dash, you know where to find me on the sidelines (this offer is exempt from anyone on the track & cross country team).
