What sparked your interest in the Ralphie program?
Seeing Ralphie run at the start of the my freshman year is what first got me interested in the program. Learning about the hard work required and the incredibly unique opportunity the program provided is why I tried out.
What does Ralphie mean to you?
To me, Ralphie symbolizes the fighting spirit of our university. She is an incredibly unique aspect of our football program and is part of what makes game days so great.
What's the hardest part of being a Ralphie Handler?
Being a part of the program calls for a large time commitment. Balancing everything that is going on is challenging, but completely worth it.
What's the best part of being a Ralphie Handler?
Being a part of the coolest tradition in college sports, as well as the access that we get to Ralphie, and the rest of the university are some of my favorite parts.
What's one thing that surprises people the most when they ask you about being a Ralphie Handler?
The amount of time and work that goes in to being a Ralphie Handler definitely surprises most people when I talk to them about it.
What's one thing about Ralphie that surprised you the most after becoming a Ralphie Handler?
The location of her secret pen was very surprising! Also, how friendly and distinct her personality is when she gets comfortable around you.
What are your hobbies?
I love skiing, backpacking, hunting, and anything else active and outside.
What are three things that make you unique?
Three things that make me unique are my telemark skiing (free the heel ski for real), my record of 40 pull ups in a row, and my forefathers fighting in the Revolutionary War. My mom brags about me being a Ralphie Handler!
