What sparked your interest in the Ralphie program?
The first CU football game I watched I was blown away when Ralphie ran. I thought it was the coolest thing and wanted to tryout to be a handler.
What does Ralphie mean to you?
Ralphie means the world to me. She is such a beautiful and majestic animal and it is an honor to be able to develop a bond with her.
What's the hardest part of being a Ralphie Handler?
The work outs can be pretty tough and it is a large time commitment. But it is all worth it.
What's the best part of being a Ralphie Handler?
Besides running a buffalo, the team itself is really close. We are like family to each other.
What's one thing that surprises people the most when they ask you about being a Ralphie Handler?
People are surprised that she is a real buffalo or that she is a girl.
What's one thing about Ralphie that surprised you the most after becoming a Ralphie Handler?
I thought she would be really aggressive but she is actually pretty calm.
What are your hobbies?
Skiing and skydiving
