What sparked your interest in the Ralphie program?
What sparked my interest to be in the Ralphie program was attending football games and watching the Ralphie runners at the beginning of each game. The program itself is a honorable program so once I learned more I knew it was something I had to do.
What does Ralphie mean to you?
Ralphie, in my personal opinion, is the best mascot on the collegiate level. Not only does our mascot attend games but it is part of the game. Just being able to experience the crowds energy once Ralphie runs out is an amazing feeling.
What's the hardest part of being a Ralphie Handler?
The hardest thing about being a Ralphie Handler is the training that goes into being part of this team. Most people believe we just run but there is a lot more to it that I didn't even understand until I joined.
What's the best part of being a Ralphie Handler?
The best thing about being a Ralphie Handler is being able to run with Ralphie out on the field and hearing the crowd go wild!
What's one thing that surprises people the most when they ask you about being a Ralphie Handler?
What surprises people the most about being a Ralphie Handler is that is a varsity sport. Most people are surprised by the process of being a Ralphie Handler and hearing it's more than just a group of people who run fast.
What's one thing about Ralphie that surprised you the most after becoming a Ralphie Handler?
How Ralphie has become so comfortable with the older handlers.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include playing sports, lifting, and spending time with my fraternity brothers.
What are three things that make you unique?
I had a quinceanero when I turned 15. I am part of Sigma Lambda Beta International fraternity. I was the only student to go out of state from my class in high school.
