2008 OUTLOOK: Kevin is a newcomer to the sprint corps. Kevin has had a solid fall getting adjust to the college high hurdles and expects to make an immediate impact in the hurdles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Weiner earned four letters at HPHS. He set the school record in the 300-meter hurdles at 40.5.

ACADEMICS: Weiner intends to major in computer science engineering at Colorado and is also interested in business.

PERSONAL: Kevin Brett Weiner was born on Nov. 29, 1988 in Evanston, Ill. He is the son of Lee and Lynn Weiner. Weiner has one older brother, Adam. He is a vegetarian and used to compete in triathlons. Weiner lists Ziggy Marley as a celebrity he has met. Weiner enjoys skiing and mountain biking. He started a successful car detailing business in the summer during high school.
