2009 Spring (senior): One of three finalists named at the 2008-09 CUSPY’s (CU Sports Performers of the Year) Athlete of the Year Nominee Awarded the team’s Most Valuable Player of the Year accolade • Named CU’s Distinguished Service Award and the Buffalo Award of Distinction (outstanding contributions to their teams, their peers and the athletic department overall) • Won a personal-best 25 singles matches • One of four to win 11 dual matches with six of them against the Big 12 • Collected eight victories at the No. 4 slot and a trio of wins at No. 3 • Clinched a pair of singles team points and five doubles points with teammate Ania Anuszkiewicz • Won nine doubles matches with Anuszkiewicz at No. 2, and one match with Melisa Esposito, also at No. 2 • For the year, ranked second on the team with 19 doubles victories.

 

2008 Fall (senior): Entered her final fall season winning a team-best 14 singles matches Engineered the longest winning streak of the fall with eight consecutive victories (tied for the fourth at CU since 1999); also won 12 of 13 from Sept. 19-Oct. 18 • Fall Flight Silver Champion (USAFA Invitational) • Won three of four matches that went three sets In doubles, won eight of nine matches teaming with Melisa Esposito, and the other with Allison Wahba Named CU Athlete of the Week (Sept. 30-Oct. 5), her sixth career honor after winning three straight singles victories, then teamed with Esposito to win the main doubles flight at the seven-school Air Force Invitational Wrapped up four-year fall singles record with a 33-18 mark (.647).

 

2008 Spring (junior): Earned Big 12 Conference Position Champion honors (No. 6 singles) with a 9-2 record • Awarded the team’s Clutch Player of the Year accolade • Ended junior year with her finest spring-to-date capturing a team- and career-best 22 victories (only nine losses), also had a team-high 21 doubles victories Tied for the team-high with 15 spring wins, also a personal-best for the dual season Overall, registered 11 triumphs at No. 6 • Won all seven matches during the year when playing three sets and won five of those matches when dropping the opening set • Clinched a pair of CU team wins at No. 6 singles • Only CU student-athlete to earn Big 12 Conference Women’s Tennis Player of Week honors (Apr. 14-20) • Ended the dual season with a five-match winning streak equaling her longest win streak of the season achieved during the month of March • Teamed with Melisa Esposito for a 10-6 mark at No. 2 doubles with seven wins against the Big 12 • Picked up 13 wins with Esposito, second most on the team • CU Athlete of the Week (Apr. 14-20 and Sept. 17-23).

 

2007 Fall (junior): One of four women on the team to win at least seven singles matches Opened the fall season with three victories reaching the main draw final at the New Mexico Invitational (Sept. 21-23) Recorded three more triumphs at the CU Invite (Sept. 28-30) and one at the ITA Central Region (Oct. 17) Won all four of her matches that went to three sets In doubles, won her first seven matches, a team-high.

 

2007 Spring (sophomore): Helped CU earn its first NCAA Tournament appearance in four years; most team victories (16) and Big 12 Conference triumphs (9), and highest team ranking     (37th) -- all team-bests in eight years (1999) • Won 14 of 24 matches with 12 of them at the No. 4 slot; two wins at No. 3 • Clinched three of CU’s 16 team victories, including an upset win over No. 34 Arizona (Jan. 26) • One of three women to win over 20 singles victories, a school first since 1998-99 • Went 21-12 for the year • One of four women with seven or more dual match conference victories • Engineered a four-match winning streak that started with a win over Baylor’s Zuzana Chmelarova, 7-5, 6-0 at No. 4 helping CU upset the No. 14 Bears (Mar. 2) • Also put together a pair of three-match winners • Named CU Athlete of the Week (Jan. 21-27) • In doubles, teamed with Monica Milewski with a team-best 17 victories, eight against the Big 12 Conference • One of three CU doubles teams to win at least 10 matches in dual play, a school-first since in 15 years (1992) • Claimed a 16-5 record at the No. 2 position along with a 1-1 mark at No. 1 with Milewski • One of those victories at No. 2 came against Michigan in the NCAA Tournament defeating Delicata/Mahtani, 8-6 helping CU sweep the doubles point for the ninth time in the dual season • For the year, produced a 19-7 doubles record winning seven of eight matches, including her last six in a row • Picked up No. 3 doubles victory with Martina Sedivec over Texas Tech (Feb. 17) securing the doubles point.

 

2006 Fall (sophomore): Began her second year with the Buffaloes achieving a 7-2 record in three tournaments played • Won the third-most matches on the team • At the Wilson/ITA Central Regional (Oct. 18-22) won two matches advancing to the Round of 16 main draw, both in straight sets • Won the Flight B USAFA Invitational (Oct. 6-7) with three consecutive wins Teamed with Melisa Esposito for a 3-1 mark at the USAFA Invitational (Oct. 6-7) and advanced to the Wilson/ITA Central Regional with a 1-1 record and a Round of 16 placing with Monica Milewski.

 

2006 Spring (freshman): Named the team’s Most Improved Player • Won nine of her first 10 matches including four matches at No. 6 • Went 8-5 for the season at No. 5 singles and a perfect 4-0 mark at No. 6 • Wrapped up her initial season with 17 victories, fourth overall on the team • Was second overall in dual wins (12) • Recorded the most Big 12 matches victories on the team with seven • Triumphed five straight times from Feb. 12-Mar. 10 • Won four of seven matches (all against the Big 12 Conference) that went three sets • In doubles, won eight matches, six of those with Monica Milewski at No. 2 • Five wins were against the Big 12 • Earned CU Athlete of the Week honors, twice (Jan. 15-22 and April 2-9).

 

2005 Fall (freshman): Opened up the fall season with five singles wins, four of those in straight sets • Reached the Wilson/ITA Central Regional main draw after winning a pair of qualifying matches over Big 12 opponents (Kansas, Oklahoma) • Began her initial season with 5-2 doubles record • Teamed with Veera Nurmi for a perfect 4-0 mark at the USAFA Invitational garnering first place honors in Flight II.

 

Personal: Born Franziska Jendrian on February 24, 1986 • Daughter of Gerd and Kerstin Jendrian • Has a younger brother, Harry • Was a member of the two-time German Team state championship teams in 2001 and 2002 • Lists winning the German team championships twice and earning her Latin O—Level degree as her biggest achievements during prep career.
