  • Abbey Nechanicky broke through with a bronze medal in the women's 10,000-meter final at the Big 12 Championship this past week.
    • She clocked 33:51.54 to place third and earn All-Big 12 honors, scoring six points for the Buffs.
    • As a sophomore, she also finished 17th at the 2024 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship; and 16th at the Mountain Region Cross Country Championships
