In the freshman's first competition as a Buff, Lani Brotman secured a 4-0 singles record and 3-1 doubles to take home the Bedford Cup Trophy.
- The freshman accompanied by Yukiko Ikedo won 12-straight games to lead into the doubles finale.
- Brotman's victories make up seven of the 22 wins brought home by the Buffs this weekend.
- She faced junior Pia Rebec in the singles final, bringing the match to a third set to win, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
