Jakob Moch helped to lead the Buffs in their match-up against Utah this week.
- He led the CU men with a runner-up finish, crossing the line just 8.5 seconds behind Utah's Mons Melbye.
- Moch, starting 20th, split data and closed aggressively, finishing second.
- He and Pedersen joined Melbye as the only three skiers to break the 18-minute mark.
- In day two, he finished second to earn his third runner-up result in his first four collegiate races and is now securely qualified for the NCAA Championships, adding a classic podium ahead of departing for the Winter Olympics.
