NORMAN, Okla. ? Alex Buth led the Buffs with 15 kills and 13 digs, but it wasn't enough as the University of Colorado volleyball team lost yet another five-game match to No. 25 Oklahoma on Wed., Sept. 26, 30-21, 30-16, 18-30, 27-30 and 10-15, in Norman, Okla.

Colorado fell behind 2-8 in the fifth game, but came back with the next five points after a timeout. The Buffs got within one point at 8-9, but OU pulled out with four of the next five points. The Sooners finished the match at 15-10.

The Buffs hit .169 in the match, better than OU's .127. CU recorded 57 kills. Kaitlyn Burkett dished out 48 assists in the effort. Lauren Schaefer hit a team-high .348 with nine kills, while Buth hit .220. Mallori Gibson recorded 13 kills and Emilee Sisco added 11.

CU hit .364 in the second game with 13 kills and one error on 33 swings. The Buffs held OU to -.041 and .000 in the first and second games, respectively.

The Buffs put up 15.0 blocks, one more than the Sooners. Edelman recorded seven blocks, one solo and six assists, to lead the Buffs once again. Gibson recorded five blocks, three solos and two assists. Buth added four assists and Schaefer recorded three assists.

CU picked up 82 digs, three more than OU (79). Callie Webster recorded a team-high 22 digs. Kristen Karlik was a welcomed return to the Buffalo line-up as she recorded 13 in five games. Burkett added 11 in the match.

The lost moves CU to 5-7 overall and 0-4 in the Big 12, its worse start in Big 12 history. This is the fourth straight match CU has dropped in five games and it's the sixth overall. The Sooners move to 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the Big 12.

Colorado will square off against No. 7 Texas on Fri., Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in Austin.
