Boulder Creek, Nev. - The University of Colorado women's golf team stayed put in a tie for 14th place in its final tournament of the fall season here Wednesday, after shooting a 309 in the third round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.

Senior Christine Kim was CU's top finisher in the tournament and turned in a 70-75-80-225 three-day scorecard.  Kim took 22nd place individually, which marked her second top-25 finish of the season.

Sophomore Emily Talley carded a 4-over 76 on the final day and her three-round total of 228 put her in a tie for 36th individually.

Senior Julie Kim emerged as CU's strongest golfer in the final round of play after carding a team-low 73 in the third round.  Kim played 11 holes to par and was 1-under with two holes remaining before a pair of bogeys landed her at 1-over on the day.  Kim finished in a tie for 43rd overall.
