Buffs Set For Final 2015 Home Games This Weekend

Coming Up
• The Buffs are looking for their second Pac-12 win of the season and to snap their seven-match winless streak with their final home matches of 2015.
• Friday's match at 3 p.m. vs. No. 21 Arizona will include a kids trick-or-treat before kickoff; kids 12-and-under will win prizes and receive a free CU soccer trick-or-treat bag if they are dressed in their Halloween costume.
• Sunday's match at 2 p.m. vs. Arizona State is Senior Day as early-arriving fans will receive a free autographed senior poster and a coupon for a $1 concession item.
Senior Day Notes
• The Buffs will honor seven seniors (Kahlia Hogg not included as she is expected to return next season) on Sunday vs. Arizona State.
• The seven have combined for 211 career starts heading into the weekend (Madison Krauser 72, Olivia Pappalardo 53, Emily Paxton 21, Kate Scheele 35, Heather Ward 30).
• The seven have also combined for 23 goals (Krauser 9, Paxton 8, Pappalardo 3, Ward 2, Machalek 1).
Krauser Dishing Assists
• Senior Madi Krauser has transitioned from the attack to playing on the backline this season, however she has found herself in the mix on offense at times.
• She has three assists this season and her 15 career assists ranks fourth all-time in the CU record book.
• She only needs two more assists to move into third place.
Scheele Shining
• Senior goalkeeper Kate Scheele has recorded three shutouts this season and has 14 career clean sheets, which in just her second season at CU, ranks fourth on the all-time list.
November Numbers
• Under head coach Danny Sanchez, the Buffs are 5-4-2 in the month of November, including 3-1-0 last season.
Last Week
• CU suffered a pair of road defeats, falling 2-1 at UCLA and 3-0 at No. 24 USC.
• Danica Evans scored the team's lone goal of the weekend to tie the game at UCLA in the second half.

Broadcast Information
• Both matches this weekend will be televised.
• Friday's match vs. Arizona will air on Pac-12 Networks with Christian Miles handling the play-by-play and Kyndra de St. Aubin serving as the color analyst.
• Sunday's match vs. Arizona State will be televised on Pac-12 Mountain with Christian Miles and Kyndra de St. Aubin once again handling the call.
Scouting the Wildcats (11-4-1, 5-3-0 Pac-12)
• Arizona is on a three-match winning streak, including a 1-0 win at No. 16 Washington State.
• The Wildcats are currently ranked No. 21 in the latest NSCAA top-25 poll.
• Gabi Stoian leads the Wildcats with six goals and eight assist for 20 points.
• Hayley Estopare has four goals and two assists for 10 points.
• Jaden DeGracie is second in school history in career assists and has four helpers and two goals this season for eight points.
• Lainey Burdett is the top goalkeeper for Arizona with a 0.88 GAA and .804 save percentage, posting two solo shutouts.
• Rachel Estopare has started five matches in goal and has totaled three shutouts.
Scouting the Sun Devils (7-7-1, 3-4-1 Pac-12)
• The Sun Devils are on a four-match unbeaten streak and three-match winning streak, including a 2-1 overtime win at No. 18 Washington.
• Cali Farquharson leads ASU with six goals and four assists for 16 points.
• Lucy Lara has a team-high five assists and three goals for 11 points and Aly Moon is also in double digits in points with 10, totaling four goals and two assists.
• McKenzie Berryhill is one of the top defenders in the conference, earning first team all-Pac-12 honors a year ago, and she has a goal and three assists this season.
• Sara Tosti was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Sun Devils to a pair of shutouts last weekend.
• Chandler Morris has played all 1,385 minutes in goal this season and has a 0.97 GAA and .754 save percentage with six shutouts.
Bonus Soccer
• The Buffaloes have played in five overtime matches already this season, posting a 2-1-2 record in those contests.
• Four of the five have been played at home and just one on the road.
Sharing Scoring Opportunities
• Nine different Buffs have scored at least one goal this season and five have tallied more than two goals through 17 matches.
Newcomers Making an Impact
• Freshmen Erin Greening, Sarah Kinzner, Brooklyn Varnadore, Alex Vidger and Stephanie Zuniga along with Portland transfer Danica Evans have each stepped up, playing important roles this season, whether starting or coming off the bench.
• The group of newcomers have combined for 44 starts, seven goals, five assists and 99 shot attempts.
• Redshirt freshman Scout Watson has started four of the past five games in goal and has a 1.89 GAA and .529 save percentage on the season in six appearances.
Junior Brie Hooks
• Hooks continues to be a leader for the Buffs in her junior year.
• She is first on the team with four goals and five assists.
• Her goal against Iowa State earlier this season moved her into sixth place on the all-time scoring list.
• Hooks has five assists this season, which is tied for second in the conference and her 14 career assists is tied for fifth in the CU record book.
• Her nine career game-winners is fifth most all-time.
• She also is tied for sixth in the Pac-12 in shot attempts (55) and ninth in points (13).
Series History
vs. Arizona
• Colorado is 2-1-1 all-time vs. Arizona, including 1-0-1 at home.
• Kate Scheele had four saves and Madison Krauser and Brittany Stark each netted a goal in last year's 3-1 win in Boulder on Nov. 2.
vs. Arizona State
• Colorado is 1-4-1 all-time vs. ASU, including 1-2-0 at home.
• The lone win for the Buffs came last season, a 2-0 victory in Boulder on Oct. 31.
• Brie Hooks and Olivia Pappalardo each scored in last year's victory for the Buffs and Kate Scheele had five saves for the shutout in goal.
• Madison Krauser scored a goal in 2013 in a 2-2 tie in Tempe.
