Men First, Women Second in Coaches' Poll
October 06, 2015 | Cross Country
NEW ORLEANS – There was no change in the latest USTFCCCA poll for Colorado as the men stayed first and the women remained second.
The men's team has been ranked first all season long and has been the unanimous No. 1 team in the poll since the start of the 2014 season. Syracuse moved up to second this week and Oregon also saw improvement, jumping into third. Stanford fell to fourth and Iona moved up to fifth overall.
The women stayed in second behind New Mexico, which picked up all 12 first place votes. Providence was listed at third this week, while Oregon and Michigan rounded out the top five, respectively.
The Buffs won both team titles at the 30th Annual Rocky Mountain Shootout on Saturday, with both teams posting perfect scores (15). Senior Pierce Murphy won the men's title, while junior Erin Clark took home the women's individual crown.
The Buffs will be back in action on Oct. 17 at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational in Louisville, Ky.
